chirstmas 08...

chirstmas came and went this year with all kinds of shit happening, namely heidi and i being sick as fucking dogs while simultaneously being snowed in for the first time in my life.

she'd being going on three weeks with this fucking sickness, on the other hand, i was just getting started! turns out i had a sinus infection. the doctor gave me a shit-ton of drugs and they helped immediately. turns out that codeine really does a number on my stomach. won't be taking that anymore. really hoping that i get a full nights rest tonight, i have a really busy day at work tomorrow and i could use the energy.

now on the good stuff, as in what i got for christmas! here my haul:

not too bad i must say. i also got some new shirts and some kick ass stocking stuffers so all in all i did good. i ate a ton a food, missed four days of work with the sickness/snow, took so much medicine i thought i was going to OD, and put up with some bullshit behavior from some drunk-asses on chirstmas. that part was shit but everything else was pretty dope.

had birthday number 33 on saturday. heidi and some of my closest friends went to jaks for amazing steaks and booze. heidi got me iron man on blu ray. it was a good night.

heidi has been sick for about a week now, this is not so good.

heidi's car had decided that it wasn't gonna start when she wanted it to anymore. needless to say that pissed her off and made her life just that much harder.

i went to her work today and got the fucking thing to kick over and promptly took it too the local honda dealership and asked them to fix it.

they shuttled me home and here i have waited for the verdict. having no idea what was wrong, i was nervous to say the least. so i was happy as a pig in shit to hear that it was just a faulty kill switch relay and all they had to do was bypass it and it's back to better!

they only charged me for one hour of labor, or $96.00 plus tax! WAYYYYY better than the several hundred that i had expected!

so yeah, kick ass!

heidi is gone for the weekend and i called in sick today to get back at some of my co-workers for being assholes the other day. last night collin and i had a few drinks, played some guitar, and got chow at la palmera. it was busy as shit but they took care of us. they always do.

supposed to going out for gorditos here soon. can't wait. so goddamn hungry.

fucking computer is being an dick the last few days. i really need a new one. preferably a laptop. also need a new tv. preferably a 50'' plasma. if i play my cards right, i'll have both by early next year! word.

alas my weekend comes to an end and it was back to work today. my mondays are usually pretty easy and today was no different. my new manager pretty much called us all worthless this morning and told us the reason we have so many issues is the fact that we don't do shit.

i wanted to kick him in his face. maybe tomorrow.

in other news, heidi is leaving for the weekend on a school related trip. i get the feeling that she's not nearly as excited as she was when she first found out she was going. probably has something to do with the fact that she's starting to drown in her workload. i feel terrible for her, mostly because there is nothing i can do to help. i mean i keep the apartment clean and all, but that only does so much. the above picture is how she has been feeling for the last few weeks now.

so what will i do with my girlfriend-less weekend you may be asking? the forecast calls for some serious ass boredom in the ensuing days.

i better get some booze and rent a game or something.
